Connie's Cornucopia: Great News
We have finally found what we have been looking for: a local baker that uses Glyphosate-free flour in baked goods. He also uses a natural Sourdough yeast in his Sourdough Bread and Go Bananas Breads.
Ekim Breads has over 35 items listing now. Since we just listed today, any orders placed starting today will be filled next week’s delivery and pick up cycle.

Champaign, OH: Truckin'
Sometimes the light’s all shinin’ on me
Other times I can barely see
Lately it occurs to me
What a long, strange trip it’s been…
(Grateful Dead)
It’s Tuesday morning! Are you truckin’ those orders in? Let’s get moving because there is still time!!
And, may I add, I am loving all of the faces rolling in attached the orders, of customers from so long ago. It’s nice to have you back!
So, this week, I leave on Thursday, to join up with some of my longest running friendships, since childhood, as we embark to the musical festival that we all love!! It’s been a few years, what with the pandemic, and all, but this year, we are back, excited, and it’s going to be epic!! Friendships that span a lifetime…these people knew me as I was making my way onto the school bus for the first time. We’ve run in packs, we’ve parted ways, and we’ve run in packs, again.
Also, for me, it’s pretty monumental because back in March, after my surgery, I didn’t think that my face would even be wanting to still to to the festival. But, miracle of miracles, and here I go. Also, fingers crossed, that when I get back, and see my surgeon, I can get back to my baking, and all that I love doing!!
Until then…thank you for being so patient, so kind with your words, and so loyal to this weekly little market!!
Now…get your orders in!
XOXO,
Cosmic Pam
Truckin’, I’m a goin’ home
Whoa whoa baby, back where I belong…

Statesboro Market2Go: Order Before 10pm Tuesday!
We’ve got robust red tomatoes that are ripe and ready to be used in a recipe!
We suggest trying them:
- As Bruschetta atop a bakery baguette and seasoned with farm fresh garlic & basil
- In some Spicy Salsa with jalapeños and bell peppers
- In chili, which can be enjoyed extra meaty or fully vegan!
- Or in an ultra-customizable Çoban salatasi (aka Sheppard’s Salad) with mint, cucumbers, peppers, onions, or whatever twist you may care to add!
Connie's Cornucopia: A2 Milk & Goat Cheese
An old-fashioned approach to dairy farming, producing delicious creamline milks and artisanal cheeses.
“We are focused on flavor as well as nutrition,” says owner Keith Kelly. "Creamline milk is a very natural form of milk. It is pasteurized, but not homogenized. We feel this leads to the best flavor and most nutritional value, and for this reason our milk has a rich creamline top that we’re proud of. But you’ll need to give it a shake before drinking.”
Run by a group of skilled cheese makers and dairy farmers, the creamery specializes in an innovative approach to dairy production that makes their products easily digestible and also gives them a higher nutritional value.
But it all begins with the cows themselves. If you drive by Rock House Creamery, you’ll likely catch a glimpse of their Jersey-Holstein herd grazing in the pasture. The cows are milked for only 30 minutes per day thanks to modern production conveniences, and spend the rest of their time eating, resting, socializing and drinking plenty of fresh water. The milk they produce goes from the cow to the bottle in 48 hours or less.

Lathemtown Farm Fresh Market: This Week at the Market
Things are beginning to really take off now in the garden! I’ve got lots of little green tomatoes and the plants are getting crazy – I’m having to prune them back already! We’re getting a small amount of beans in, but not enough for orders yet. Hoping to add those next week, as well as zucchini! A few orders of carrots are available this week. They are also added to our Chopped Salad Bag.
Greens are plentiful now! If you ever need a midweek order of those – just send me a message and I’ll pick for you.
Have a great week!
